Fine Art Print FAQs
Created in 2022. This painting reminds Lawrence of his childhood in southern Arizona, which often found him trekking across the desert on his way to elementary school through lands owned by the late Howard Hughes or in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson. He was often reminded that the desert could be a dangerous place as storms miles away could result in frighteningly powerful flash floods through typically dry creek beds. Each storm would unearth new and fascinating things to enchant a young boy.
