Created in 1975. Artwork Dimensions (w x h x d): 60 x 60 x 2.5 in. Latin Tune is a homage to the beauty, depth and colorful feel of Latin Music. It honors its varied origins, evolution and expressive qualities. The top rectangular section is the Tune itself with the rhythmic colors as a backdrop for the fluid overlayed melody. The four musicians are the archetypes of those who connect worlds for us, our spiritual or inner worlds to our physical one, bringing celestial feelings down to Earth through the connective power of music. The painting has an as above, so below intention with the Tune being the idea or blueprint for the transformative reality in the lower rectangular image representing our daily lives. The unfolding upward layers of the landscape brings us up and elevates our awareness. The magical city shows the song’s ancient roots as well as the history of music, dance and human expression.  The flying bird is our inner world being set free. The dancers show its worldwide origins and current expression of Joy!!
