Fine Art Print FAQs
Created in 2007. Blinded by the Light is a lightbox, constructed of Plexiglas, acetate, ink, a fluorescent light, wood, nuts and bolts, which measures 1’ high by 1’ wide by 5.5” deep. The title of this artwork makes reference to the song Blinded by the Light, made famous by Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1976. The lightbox depicts an audience at a popular music concert that is seemingly enraptured by the light coming from the stage. It is as though the aura of the music and the rock band itself have taken spiritual hold of the concert goers, metaphorically making them blinded by the light.
