Rob Hill
Rob Hill is a geometric abstract painter living in Denver, Colorado and is attending California College of the Arts as a full time student where he is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Painting. His art journey is unique as he started painting on t-shirts in high school as a way to help his mom pay the bills. After graduating, Hill joined the U.S. Coast Guard where he learned valuable skills such as responsibility, consistency, and resilience. He served for 8 years and returned back home to Los Angeles, where he brought out that creativity inside of him as a form of therapy. Hill has applied his aesthetic to denim, leather, glass, canvas, wood, marble, metal, etc. His art work has been shown in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Revolt TV, The Huffington Post and exhibited at UNICEF events and Miami Art Basel. As Hill keeps producing, his principle theme of unity through diversity unfolds through an intersection of line, texture, angle, and color.
