Rina Anshina
Based in Yokohama, Japan, Rina Anshina is a young artist who aspires to photograph small details to capture the beauty of mundane life. The simplicity of her photographs brings a sense of nostalgia and comfort. Rina first got interested in photography at the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts in the UK where she spent her school holidays, and where photography was part of the curriculum. Later, she studied photography under her father Anatoliy Anshin who is a fine art photographer known for his unique perspective on Japan's nature and historical sites. Her other ongoing project is street photography where she captures the interaction of ever-changing nature with the urban environment. Rina is in her last year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma and is preparing to study art history in the UK.
