Michael Pointer
Michael Pointer is a fourth generation artist and is based in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas. He has been drawing, painting, and making photographs since the age of nine. His work is held in corporate and private collections and he is a listed artist on Art Photo Index and Techspressionism.com. He taught photography at Wichita State University for three years. He has exhibited in Europe and Taiwan as well as having extensive exhibits throughout the United States.
From the Artist... My work is an exploration of the relationship of photography to painting. I term this work Photoexpressionism which refers to using analog and digital artwork to express an emotional experience.
