Marina Andräde
From the Artist, Marina Andräde... I was born during a heavy winter in Raleigh, North Carolina, but grew up in northeast Brazil. Visual arts were always one of my passions, even though I studied music throughout my adolescence as well. I started photography at the age of 16 with the intent of becoming a concert/music photographer, and did that for 3 years. At the age of 19, I attended university for an Associates Degree in Photography at UNICAP in Recife, Brazil. I got to discover other themes and subjects to photograph like pets, weddings, and general portraits. As soon as I graduated, I went to live in Seattle with dreams and understandings to be a landscape photographer. I explore the wondrous and majestic natures of the American West Coast, and I continue to build my portfolio in Los Angeles.
