Fine Art Print FAQs
Created in 2022 Series -Bare Nere, Nere : A breadwinner’s ship (Once upon a time) This series is stylistically and structurally experimental, stemming from a desire to invoke the spirits deep within, those of our forefathers, as a means to seek peace and ask for guidance rooted in African knowledge system. With this series I metaphorically imagine myself geared up in an Afrofuturist Identity in space and time, taking a psychological and spiritual journey of life in the metaverse. This piece SEETE BOSIGO (Winter) reminds me of back in the days when I was young in Motlatla during winter where living things were hibernating, trees brown, the streets clean and life still had to continue, and a breadwinner remains a breadwinner.
