Lara J. Trad
Lara J. Trad is a Lebanese artist residing in Yerevan, Armenia. Her passion for Arts led her in different directions, photography being one of them, but she still finds her most compatible way to express herself is through painting.
Born by the shores of the Mediterranean sea, Lebanese artist Lara J. Trad, chased a lifetime dream to continue her art studies in Rome, the eternal city. As she fell off her main aim, she majored in Architecture and landscaping before going back to Lebanon where she received her 3 years Bachelor of Arts degree, in Graphic Design.
Her passion for Arts led her in different directions, photography being one of them. Pursuing a rich, busy career in Architecture, Design, Photography and Illustration, Lara J. still finds her most compatible way to express herself is through painting. She adapted her own style in color mixing and form trying to find a way to the heart of the viewer.
Lara J. Trad aims at telling stories in each and every painting. What first strikes the viewer in her paintings is the absence of well defined, recognizable faces, and to that, her explanation is that her initial intent is to not only show, express, or tell a story, but also experiment in what she's trying to discover. Lara J.'s deepest artistic concern is to connect with each viewer's subconscious, far from dictating a precise and limiting reaction.
Lara J. strongly feels that undifined faces help the viewers relate more freely to what they're looking at, therefore connect and interact, be it at the subconscious level, and from there, find themselves, looking at their very own stories, their deepest emotions.
