Joshua Woroniecki

Joshua Woroniecki is an adventure and landscape photographer based in Banff, Canada, whose work is driven by a lifelong commitment to humanitarian service across the globe.

Woroniecki came to photography through an extended volunteer trip throughout South America, where he sought a way to share the awe-inspiring beauty of North American wilderness — its mountains, forests, lakes, and rivers — with the communities he was working to uplift. Having traveled to over 55 countries and speaking four languages, he has built a practice rooted in the belief that a single photograph can serve as both a window of escape and a source of daily inspiration. He visits troubled schools, orphanages, and homes for the elderly around the world, bringing hope through music, art, education, and motivational speaking, and uses his photography to fund and extend that work.

His images — spanning sweeping mountain landscapes, night-sky astrophotography, ocean sunrises, and lush forest scenes — are composed with the intent to place the viewer directly within the scene. Shooting primarily with a Sony α6000, Woroniecki has earned recognition for award-winning photographs seen by tens of millions worldwide. His prints are available as fine art canvas, metal, and acrylic glass editions through his Etsy shop, TherapeuticPhotos.
