Greg Noblin

Greg Noblin is an Atlanta-based, photography-based digital illustrator. His work tells slightly vague vignettes with a sense of vintage nostalgia, inviting the viewer to contribute to the meaning of each piece.

Noblin's art explores the intersection of childhood dreams and adult realities. By incorporating fantastical elements into real-life settings, he aims to spark a sense of wonder and rekindle the magic of believing in the impossible. His work often contains a subdued sense of struggle, expressing a desire for independence.

He photographs each element, then digitally combines them. In a process he calls "Panelism," the images are printed, stitched together, and mounted on wooden panels where paints and gel mediums are applied. This method reflects a cycle of deconstruction and reconstruction, bridging the gap between fantastical visions and the grounded world.
