Greg Noblin
Greg Noblin is an Atlanta-based, photography-based digital illustrator. His work tells slightly vague vignettes with a sense of vintage nostalgia, inviting the viewer to contribute to the meaning of each piece.
He photographs each element, then digitally combines them. The images are printed, stitched together, and mounted on wooden panels where paints and gel mediums are applied. This process, which he calls "Panelism," reflects a cycle of deconstruction and reconstruction. His work often contains a subdued sense of struggle, expressing a desire for independence and creating a commonality with the viewer.
