Cole Rise is a fine art and travel photographer whose work flirts with space and the surreal. A serial entrepreneur, designer, and pilot, he is known for designing the original Instagram filters and icon.

In 2013, he sold his design company to Apple and launched Litely, one of the top-rated photo editing apps. He later served as the Chief Creative at Polaroid, where he pioneered a new type of interactive photograph.

He is currently working on a documentary called “Making the Moon Camera,” which follows the history and rebuilding of the cameras sent to the moon. This project combines his passions for photography, space, and innovation.
