Ciara Tell
Ciara Tell is a digital collage artist whose work blurs the line between reality and fantasy. Drawing from vintage aesthetics and surrealist imagination, her pieces pull viewers into richly layered alternate universes that feel more like vivid dreams than digital compositions.
Working entirely within Adobe Photoshop, Tell constructs her collages using magazine clippings, digital assets, and public domain photography — none of which she captures herself. This deliberate curation allows her to build worlds fully detached from reality, where the goal is immersion: she wants viewers to forget they are looking at a digital work and instead feel aggressively captivated by an aesthetically charged dreamscape. Rooted in a desire to channel her rawest, most uninhibited thoughts, her process is as much emotional release as artistic craft.
Tell began her collage practice in 2020 as a creative outlet alongside her vintage clothing brand, using art to extend her aesthetic vision beyond fashion. Since then, she has developed a distinctive visual language that bridges digital artistry and emotional storytelling, building a dedicated following through her work as @thectelledit_.
