Benele Jeffrey Dlamini

Benele Jeffrey Dlamini (b. 1997) is a self-taught artist living and working in Manzini, Eswatini. In his last year of school he was awarded a best fine artist award after winning an art contest. He has exhibited his work on numerous online exhibitions, and an exhibition hosted by Swaziland's arts and culture.

The slogan, 'protect your mind' umbrellas his art. His work isn't entirely bound to graphite and charcoal although they play a huge role as medium in most of his work. Dlamini's work is at once hyper-realist _ neatly and meticulously capturing a subject. He is fascinated by the subtleness of facial expressions. He sometimes works on surreal figures with hidden metaphors or entirely challenges known philosophy.
