Tori Celeste

Tori Celeste is a contemporary surrealist artist from Durham, North Carolina. While primarily an oil painter, she also explores digital art. Her recent work focuses on organic biomorphic shapes and creatures using automatic drawing.

Celeste’s intuitive process allows her emotions to flow directly onto the canvas. Using vibrant colors and bold, gestural brushstrokes, she conveys a sense of movement and dynamism, evoking living organisms. Inspired by music and personal experiences, she uses biomorphic forms as a medium to ponder the complexity of raw expression and confront these concepts in her art.

Her art serves as a medium for self-discovery and introspection, seeking to evoke a similar emotional response within the viewer. Celeste's work has been displayed in multiple group exhibitions, including at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC, and the Bedford Gallery in California.
