Tai "Upgrade" Rotan is an Atlanta-based instrumental producer and composer whose futuristic sound spans New Age, EDM, Hip Hop, R&B, Techno, and House — a genre-defying range that multi-platinum producer Rico Wade calls "the sound of the future."

Working independently through TKRP Music Publishing (BMI), Rotan composes, produces, licenses, and distributes his music with full creative control. Each work is a deliberate expansion of instrumental music's emotional and sonic possibilities.

A former voting member of The Recording Academy (2009–2019), Rotan has released over 300 original compositions, 15 instrumental albums, and 1 opera soundtrack. His career gained early traction with a 2006 production credit on Dead Prez & the Outlawz's Can't Sell Dope Forever, and his work has earned recognition from Billboard.com, XXL, The SOURCE, and Creative Loafing Atlanta, with collaborators including Kanye West, Nas, Deepak Chopra, and Grammy Award-winning musicians.
