Joe Winograd is a multimedia artist investigating "handmade" digital art. He removes his psychedelic GIF creations from the browser, transforming them into holographic prints, sculptural installations, and even collaged jewelry.

Winograd received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. His work, which blends high-tech processes with low-fidelity materials, has been featured in galleries, museums, and festivals internationally. He has collaborated with companies like GIPHY, VICE Media, and Tumblr. Since 2016, Winograd has also performed as Juggy, a mystical, bicycle-riding creature. He often creates for educational environments, presenting at institutions from the Young At Art Children’s Museum to Harvard University, and has co-created courses at RISD.
