Jennifer Cronin
Jennifer Cronin is a Chicago-based visual artist, specializing in realistic painting and drawing. Cronin studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning her BFA in painting in 2009. She is currently represented by Elephant Room Gallery in Chicago.
From the Artis... Sometimes starkly real, and other times other-worldly, Jennifer Cronin’s style of captivating realism pulls the viewer into the world of her paintings and drawings. From exploring inner psychology to highlighting income inequality, Cronin is constantly working to explore what it means to be human. Most recently, Cronin has been awarded a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation to support the development of her upcoming series of work documenting the effects of climate change on our planet.
