Guadalupe Plaza Petersen is an Argentine-Spanish visual artist, photographer, and curator based near Barcelona. Her work explores the intersection of memory, human experience, and the environment, with a focus on climate change.

Her practice spans over two decades, working across photography, video, and installation. With a transnational perspective, her work is a poetic investigation into memory, territory, and the evolving dynamics between humanity and the living world. She navigates the balance between intimate subjectivity and planetary imaginaries, inviting reflection on how we inhabit and transform our environments.

Plaza Petersen’s work has been exhibited at The Photographers’ Gallery in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Argentina.
