Eileen Riley

Eileen Riley’s artistic odyssey began in rural Massachusetts and blossomed at UMass with sculpture. She commands various media, including pottery, painting, and collage, exhibiting her work in galleries across New England and New York.

Her recent exhibitions include Life of Riley (2023), War and Peace (2024), 8 Visions (2025), and NUDUS 2025. As the Westport Art Group Scholarship Chair, she nurtures young talent. Beyond her teaching career at Bishop Stang, she pursues her international dreams with fierce passion.

Riley reaffirms her dedication to Surrealism, Symbolism, and collage in her work. Crafting vivid stories from a 50-year archive, her art extends to paintings, assemblage sculptures, and encaustics. Her pieces tap into personal and universal narratives through symbolic animals, using bold colors and layers to explore memory and imagination, connecting the intimate with the archetypal.
