D.rection (Disha Prajapati) is an Indian multidisciplinary artist in Los Angeles. Her work, spanning painting, sculpture, and textiles, explores identity, migration, and memory, bridging tradition with contemporary life.

Her creative process begins with stories and metaphors passed down from her mother. Inspired by the nomadic Rabari women of Kutch, Gujarat, and their sacred bond with nature, her paintings and sculptural forms create layered, symbolic worlds. She explores the space between East and West—not to choose a side, but to explore where they overlap. Through symbols and ritual, her art becomes a way to preserve ancestral knowledge. Her work has been shown in galleries across LA and New York.
