Dr. Michael Filimowicz, known artistically as Myk Eff, has exhibited in numerous new media shows, including SIGGRAPH Art Gallery and ARTECH. His digital images are currently streamed on the Loupe Art platform. His work has been featured in journals like Leonardo, monographs such as Infinite Instances, and the textbook Reframing Photography. A Senior Lecturer at Simon Fraser University, he specializes in computer-mediated communications and new media art. Myk's AI music video recently won Best Animation in a Music Video at the California Music Video and Film Awards in January 2024.
